How money helps
For the Burkitt Lymphoma Treatment Programme:

£6 pays for one round trip ticket to and from treating hospitals for most patients.
£15 pays for food for a child and his/her parent during treatment.
£30 pays for many blood tests and other tests needed during treatment of a child.
£65 pays for the supplies needed to make an accurate diagnosis of Burkitt lymphoma.
£100 pays for chemotherapy drugs for one child with Burkitt Lymphoma in equatorial Africa.
£150 pays for costs associated with training doctors and nurses in Africa.
£300 will be used towards improving childhood cancer care hospital facilities.
For Palliative Care Access Programme:

£25 will provide palliative care for a terminally ill patient in Nepal.
£50 will help to train doctors and nurses in providing effective palliative care.
